Summer, summer, summer time

Remember that song by Will Smith! Summer time is here and I am done teaching.. hip hip hooray! Although today doesn't feel like summer it is 50 and cloudy. Love Minnesota! We have some fun things planned this summer. Bray and I are going to Florida next week to hang out with Sarah and Jude. We are also going up north for my family's lake week in July, planning a trip to Boston in late July/early August and going to Omaha for Ty's wedding in August. Lots of travel! I love it.
I don't know how many of you know this, but I applied for a program at the U of M in school counseling. I got accepted and took my first class during May session. I love it. It is right up my alley and it feels like a good fit. I will be taking more classes in the fall and the spring, so I will not be teaching next year. I am hoping to do something part time.. perhaps work at Powerhouse ( Mike's program.) It feels weird to not know when or if I will teach again. teaching has really been such a huge chunk of my life for the last 6 years. I really do love it, but I am content and even glad to let it go for awhile, it has just consumed so much of my physical and emotional energy.
Bray is doing very well. He seems to have skipped the crawling stage and is more interested in walking alongside of things his height. his favorite activity is circling around and around our coffee table. This new past time has left poor Braylon with several bruises and bumps. I am thinking we may need to get him a helmet. He also loves to make farting noises with his mouth and will do it sometimes for several minutes. I have no idea where he learned this... I mean Mike and I are way to refined to teach him something like that :)
I hope you are all doing well and I am eager to see many of you this summer.
Much love
Kendra

School's out for the summer! That means not as much Bray time for me. I miss our Wednesdays.
