Acorns to Oaks

At Hope Academy the Kindergarten graduation is called Acorns to Oaks. It is based on the verse in Isaiah that states " they will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord, for the display of His spender." First of all, I just love that verse. Secondly, the ceremony was about the sweetest thing you have ever seen. The oaks from the school, the graduating Seniors,  bestowed upon the acorns, the kindergartners, acorn necklaces. The Kindergartners were charged to grow from acorns to oaks to display God's glory and power. And they were given the visual of the seniors in their regal graduation robes to inspire them to grow bigger and bigger!
We were so thankful for Hope Academy this year and their investment in Braylon and his other kindergarten friends. Off to first grade he goes!
